About me
Here below you can find a detailed description of my career. In summary, I could tell the following. I started working as a translator/interpreter in 2008. I worked for companies in such different domains as machinery, Forex, equipment for power plants, education, medicine, law.
I worked for more than 10 years in the domain of surrogacy medicine (it is legal in Ukraine), performing the translations/interpreting concerning gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, andrology as well as the translations of the corresponding documentation (contracts, agreements, birth certificates, medical certificates etc) for French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese speaking clients
Besides, acting as a freelancer, I used to translate such documentation as contracts, agreements, judgments, diplomas (and other documents related to the education), as well as instructions, journalistic articles, websites, forex technical and financial analyses, price-lists from / into Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Catalan.
I acted as interpreter during medical consultations, financial negotiations, in court, in the registry office, at the international exhibition of medical equipment.
As a bonus, I performed some translations for Ukrainian channels concerning football: translation and transcription of interviews of foreign players acting as an interpreter during press conferences at Champions League football matches (from/into Spanish and Portuguese) and I have some experience in translating of dance master classes being interpreter during international dance festivals.
I am the author of three textbooks for French language students at the New Time publishing house (Kharkiv) in 2013-2015.
All this time I combined my translator’s career with teaching of Spanish and French in Kharkiv National University. Though a good teacher doesn’t always mean a good translator, it could be a proof that the level of my knowledge is good enough to teach for almost 9 years in a higher school.

The languages I speak/I know
My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. I hold a master’s degree in translations for French, Spanish and English languages. It means that in my country I am a sworn translator and I have the right to sign and certify the translations made from/into these languages.
Besides, I speak Italian and Portuguese, being a practicing translator/interpreter of these two languages. Also, I speak Catalan, I’ve been to Catalonia, I work occasionally with clients from this region, I teach Catalan to Ukrainians, anyway I have to admit that my level of Catalan is not as high as the other languages’ one, so I can translate (both in written and oral way) FROM Catalan, but not TO Catalan.
Knowing such a variety of languages, due to similarities of the corresponding languages, I can easily understand both written and oral Galician and Belorussian languages, so I can also do the translations FROM them to other languages I know.
Disclaimer
I do realize that everyone needs some proofs to be sure that the information I provide is trustworthy. But, please mind that due to the specifity of the jobs I used to perform, it wouldn’t be so easy to provide everyone with the prooflinks. The field of medicine (especially the surrogacy, gynecology, urology and so on ) is quite sensitive, so there are not too much people that would be happy to share their identities talking about this. The same for the legal translatiosn. I acted as interpreter during court sessions, trials, I translated the corresponding documentation. But, sometimes I just have no right to disclose such information.
